The Story

About This Place

Rollitto is one of the few places in Thao Dien where kimbap gets focused, dedicated treatment. The Korean owner runs a tight menu built around the format — tuna, vegetable, and pork rolls, each thick and generously filled, alongside a keto version that skips the rice entirely. Korean expats in the neighborhood have taken notice, with several regulars writing reviews in Korean to note that the flavor holds up against what they'd find back home.

The tteokbokki draws particular praise from repeat visitors — executed in the classic Korean street-food style, the spicy rice cake dish stands out as something regulars specifically recommend. Ramen rounds out the menu, making Rollitto a compact but coherent representation of Korean bunsik culture: the kind of casual, satisfying food that doesn't ask much of the diner.

Portion size comes up consistently across reviews: the rolls are noticeably larger than they appear in photos, enough to leave people genuinely full. Pricing runs below the usual Thao Dien premium, a detail the local Korean community treats as worth mentioning. The owner's habit of recommending dishes and greeting customers warmly has built a regulars base that returns often enough to track which visit tasted better than the last.

Vegetarians have limited but real options: the rice rolls contain meat, but several items without rice accommodate non-meat eaters. Delivery is available and the rolls reportedly travel well.

For expats and locals tired of fusion takes or inflated neighborhood pricing, Rollitto occupies a specific, well-executed niche — straightforward Korean kimbap, made by someone who grew up eating it.

Ordered the kimbap and the 김마리 and both were delicious!! The kimbap was definitely the highlight - good portions, fresh ingredients, tasty, and packed to the brim with filling - I dare say that it was better than the ones I've had in Korea. Will definitely be returning to try other variations! It's a bit like 분식 so it was nice to see that being available in hcmc!

The foods are good, the kimbab tasted really good & authetic (since the owner is Korean). It tastes good even compared to the Korean foods I had in Korea. Beautiful presentation. The owner was super friendly and welcoming.

Such a nice place, with a very friendly owner, great food and really good prices! I keep wanting to go back and actually end up going back :D For vegetarians: the rice does have meat in it, but there are options without rice that are so so good! I definitely recommend this place🙏
