It was great. The staff were nice and friendly. Very detailed and very professional. Food came out relatively fast and the meals were delicious. The food is full of flavour, and the presentation is beautiful. I recommend the deep fried tofu. Linh is very nice and helpful. She plays alot of attention to detail and is very attentive.

Hum Garden - Healthy Veggies Delights - Vegetarian restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City
About This Place
Hum Garden occupies a rare middle ground in Thao Dien's dining scene: serious Vietnamese cooking that happens to be entirely plant-based. The menu draws on regional specialties from across the country — Dien Bien sticky rice wrapped with Sapa forest mushrooms, spicy pho built around Que Son cassava root, Sa Dec rice noodles tossed in tamarind sauce — treating vegetarian cuisine as a vehicle for showcasing Vietnam's ingredient geography rather than simply removing meat.
Nutritional intention runs through every dish. Brown rice bowls reference glycemic index; lotus root is cited for vitamin C; artichoke soup is positioned as a cholesterol regulator. The kitchen ties flavor to function, which draws a lunchtime crowd that skews health-conscious without wanting to sacrifice depth or complexity. With 1,504 Google reviews averaging 4.6 stars, the restaurant has genuine staying power in a neighborhood where turnover is high.
The cooking spans textures well — crispy mushroom-stuffed spring rolls alongside cooling Thuwan Nam cucumber soup, grilled eggplant paired with king oyster mushrooms in crispy rice paper, pandan-scented jasmine rice as a fragrant base for heavier mains. Seasonal produce figures prominently: a Northwest passion fruit and grapefruit salad, and the rotating Seasonal Platter of naturally dried vegetables served with house-made accompaniments.
The garden setting reinforces the overall sensibility — natural light, greenery, and an unhurried pace distinguish it from Thao Dien's noisier café-restaurant hybrids. Daily hours from 10 AM to 10 PM make it one of the more versatile options in the neighborhood for both a midday set meal and an early dinner. For a district full of Western brunch spots, this level of commitment to Vietnamese plant-based cooking at full-service hours fills a genuine gap.

Beautiful with a style. Interesting menu. Tasty food. Small portions. Professional staff. Of course the price needs to match those. In total, it was a nice experience.
The stir-fried vegetables and soup were quite salty. The dessert was rather unappetizing. The only dish I found delicious was the brown rice. Considering the price, the food wasn't particularly impressive.
My all time favourite restaurant whenever I’m in Ho Chi Minh City. I feel that the vegetarian foods here are unique and creative.
I recently visited Healthy Earthy Restaurant, and it’s a gem for anyone seeking clean, plant based food. The ambiance is calm and grounded, perfectly reflecting its earthy philosophy. The food is pure, nourishing, and full of natural flavours and a true celebration of vegan cuisine. If you’re in Ho Chi Minh City and care about health, sustainability, and taste, I strongly recommend this place without a second thought.
