Hanhae - Korean restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

I am glad I found this place when I was looking for food the other night. They serve mostly seafood dishes like sashimi, rice bowl, noodles, etc. The ingredients are fresh, high quality that you can taste and tell compared to other Korean restaurant. Likewise, I have become a regular here since then when I am craving for nutritious, fresh Korean seafood dishes! Highly recommended!

Freshness is on another level. The salmon sashimi was incredibly buttery and clean, melting in the mouth without any fishy taste at all. The sea squirt (멍게) was also surprisingly fresh with a natural ocean sweetness — not overly strong, just perfectly balanced. Every dish felt well-prepared and thoughtfully presented. Definitely one of the best spots for high-quality seafood. Will come back again for sure.

I normally don’t eat raw food during my trip, but I couldn’t stop my desire to go to this Korean Sashimi restaurant every time when I passed it, so I finally decided to go. With all fresh seafood that half of them I never had before, the natural and fresh flavor impressed me. A bit pricy, but worth the try. The Korean owner living in Saigon for ten years was very pleasant to talk to and the way handling us made me feel trustful to eat the food. An absolutely wonderful night to please my taste bud and enjoy a relaxing time with friends!!!

The assorted sashimi set is very fresh. Very good service, we came with our kid and they offered korean porridge, which was yummy 👌🏻
