Burger Meister Thảo Điền - Hamburger restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

We came at lunch time and it looked closed, but the burger shop was opened. Plenty of variety of foods at this area like indian, Taiwanese food stalls. Might of been better if we went at dinner time.

[Update Nov 25] I was able to use the free cheeseburger coupon I received last time. I believe they made it as a mix patty. I think the flavor of the plain beef is better. But it was still good. I tried a Pizza Burger. The girl tried to tell me something (I didn't quite understand - maybe they were out of something), but I said it was ok. Maybe they meant the Pizza Burger buns were out because what I received looked a lot different than the menu photo. The taste was probably 4 stars or 3.5. I thought it would be with pizza sauce, but it was ketchup (maybe that was it?). The mix patty would have been 160K/$6.30; the all beef was 180K/$7.10. -- I came here because of another burger place for which a reviewer had stated, "The best burger in Saigon." I couldn't make it out here until now and discovered it no longer exists. However, it looks like this place just opened. They have a pretty nice menu selection. I was going to try a pizza burger or kimchi burger, but I was going to get a hot dog as well as so I wanted to try a regular burger. I settled for the Dorky Porky, a bacon cheeseburger. For the cost, I believe it was 130K/$5.15. Although it didn't blow me away, I thought it was quite good. The patty had enough flavor and juice. It was good size. For an under 180K-200K burger/120K-140K burger, this might be the best I've had so far for that price in Vietnam. The Danish hotdog was good (59K/$2.35). I wasn't quite sure what that was, but it is a thinner link. The taste was good, but I may have preferred just getting a second burger. *I think for it being newly opened, they gave me a coupon for a free burger after I finished.

I’m a regular customer. This is the THIRD time i receive french fries that is SOAKED IN SO MUCH OIL , SO HARD AND EXTREMELY HORRIBLE TASTE. EXTREMELY BAD

This french fries 40 000 dong, it's just a shame. I know we're in Thao Dien but it looks like we are in L.A. And the fries were worse than at McDonald's.

Hands down 🙌🏻 the best burger in D2. Soft bun, perfect size and delicious meat. Super friendly and helpful staffs. Wish they had onion rings. Anyway, still good enough for me. Fantastic experience overall 🤭
