커피 메뉴가 주된 매력이다. 베트남 밀크커피는 꾸준히 호평을 얻고 있으며, 에스프레소 베이스 음료도 방문을 거듭해도 수준이 흔들리지 않는다. 푸드 메뉴에서는 avocado egg on toast가 단골들의 기본 선택으로 자리 잡았고, banana muffin이 짧지만 믿음직한 아침 식사 메뉴를 완성한다. 주방은 군더더기 없는 방향을 유지하는데, 이를 조용한 환경에 대한 적절한 타협으로 받아들이는 손님도 있는 반면, 가격 대비 음식의 볼륨이 기대에 못 미친다고 느끼는 이들도 있다. 이 온도 차는 리뷰에 그대로 드러나지만, 재방문율 역시 함께 보인다.
영업시간은 확실한 차별점이다. 월요일과 일요일에는 오전 6시 30분, 나머지 요일에는 오전 7시에 문을 열어, Thao Dien의 하루 종일 영업하는 인기 카페들이 본격적으로 분주해지기 전 이른 시간대 손님들을 먼저 맞이한다. 주방은 대부분의 요일에 오후 5시에 마감하므로 저녁이나 늦은 오후 방문에는 적합하지 않지만, 아침 미팅이나 집중 작업, 조용한 독서를 위한 시간대로는 충분히 여유롭다. 현장 주차가 가능하다는 점도 이 동네 일각에서는 무시할 수 없는 요소다. 직원들의 친절함은 꾸준히 언급되지만, 서비스 속도에 대한 지적도 간간이 등장한다. Google 리뷰 111개에서 4.3점을 기록한 이 카페는, 꾸준함과 조용한 분위기를 바탕으로 단골을 만들어가는 믿음직한 동네 명소임을 보여준다.
not the worst place to do a bit of work: open space, comfy sofas and decent tables, and the staff are friendly enough. just a shame the coffee is overpriced and wack. shalom always been like that though. tried the food once and same conclusion - meh.
I had to wait for a client so popped in for a quick bite & a coffee. Everything was fantastic. Very pleasant service, very high quality coffee & delicious avocado egg on toast. This will be my go to for premium coffee & great cuisine.....banana muffin was moist & delectable.
the most simple dishes (almost so simple in their execution it is offensive) for the most steep prices. there may be no better example than shalom for a place that really isn’t worth it. and has no particular good reason as to why it should still exist.
It’s a cafe situated in Tropic Garden apartment in Thao Dien, District 2. Nothing impressive about the drinks and food, but I like that it’s spacious and quiet. Most guests here are the apartment’s or nearby residences. One can easily stay here to work all day long.
Great coffee shop in Topic garden. Recommend for anyone. Parking available. Staffs are friendly.
