Om Momo - Tibetan Dumpling Restaurant - Tibetan restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

My first-ever Tibetan cuisine experience! I ordered the butter tea, which was sooo creamy and hearty (probably not the best choice for lunch on a hot day though lol) I also got the beef, goat, and chicken momos with yellow sauce, which were recommended by the server. The momos were soft, flavorful, and delicious. Service staffs were friendly and helpful, although the waitress for my table seemed to struggle a little with giving recommendations. The staffs also appeared quite occupied and slightly frantic, which was a bit odd considering the restaurant wasn’t particularly crowded at the time. while their attitude was pleasant, I do think the overall service could have been better. overall, it was still a nice experience, and I’d probably come back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

I’ve been in Vietnam for 2 months now and honestly I’m a sucker for good momo - I have tried so many places in HCMC but this is by far the best place to eat momo that are delicious and authentic. I tried their cocktails as well (The lover and The seeker I guess) - just too good. People are friendly and amazing. Staff is polite and the ambience is a 10/10 secluded from the town and literally so peaceful. The music was great too. Worth every single penny. Whoever is coming to HCMC please try this place it’s just too iconic ❤️ . Definitely Recommended🥰

My very first time with Tibetian food so I was not expecting much, but the experience pleasantly suprised me. The taste was unique, I could smell the herbs both in food and drink, but didn't make them hard to enjoy. Dumplings with red sauce was good, but the potato with cheese got my heart. The atmosphere was cozy with warm light, Tibetan colorful and cultural decorations, and the warmness from the service as well. Staffs were so gentle. I accidentally spilled the butter tea while a staff was placing a dish on the table, I would say it was completely my fault but the staff was very worried about that, please don't scold him haha. And then the chef or someone I'm not sure, offering us a new butter tea and a Tibetan bread with honey, love the service but we were so full could not finish the rest so sorry. Om Momo is a must-try place, and highly recommended for families or group of friends.

You can tell the food is made with love, you can taste it. The flavors are ridiculous, insanely tantalizing to the taste buds. The decor is warm and welcoming. The staff and the owners are incredible humans. This place is a gem. I can't wait to go again. I'm gonna post a photo, I ate from it because the smell was too seductive to wait. Thank you so much for a glorious experience.

A very unique & authentic dining experience for Tibetian dumplings. I love the serenity & cozy vibe of this place’s atmosphere. The food is lovely: I enjoyed the dumplings in sauce, with fillings of chicken, beef, and lamb. The herbal floral tea is elegant. My group also ordered the beef shapta dish. The decoration at night makes this place lovely. I will come back for more.
