Nam's Coffee & Cake는 An Phú의 Đường số 1에 자리한 아담하지만 섬세하게 연출된 공간이다. 정글 스타일의 식물과 잉어 연못이 어우러져 차분하고 여유로운 분위기를 만들어낸다. 오너 Nam은 직접 가게를 챙기며, 그 정성은 세세한 곳에서 드러난다. Berry Lover 스무디에는 시럽 대신 생과일을 쓰고, 커피 옆에 노트북을 펼쳐놓기에 충분한 크기의 테이블이 갖춰져 있으며, 아침 메뉴는 제대로 된 베트남 가정식으로 구성된다.
아침 메뉴는 이 카페의 진정한 매력이다. 돼지고기와 풋콩 볶음, 국, 간장 달걀로 이루어진 구성은 주변 카페들보다 훨씬 든든한 아침을 만들어준다. bánh mì에는 파테와 달걀이 기본으로 들어가며, 소고기 슬라이스가 추가되는 날도 있다. 소금 커피는 이 집의 시그니처다. 오렌지 케이크는 단골들 사이에서 따로 팬층을 형성해, 한 잔 더 시키게 만드는 메뉴로 통한다.
오후에는 잔잔한 배경음악과 손님 스스로 페이스를 조율할 수 있는 분위기에 이끌려 혼자 작업하는 사람들과 소규모 모임이 자연스럽게 섞인다. 잉어 연못과 겹겹이 층을 이루는 식물은 Thao Dien 중심가를 따라 늘어선 새 카페들의 미니멀한 흰 벽 인테리어와는 확연히 다른 질감을 선사한다. 가격대가 부담스럽지 않아 두 시간가량 앉아 있어도 눈치 볼 필요가 없다.
단골들이 특별한 목적지라기보다 매주 습관처럼 들르는 곳으로 표현하는 카페다. 익숙하면서도 질리지 않고, 주말에 붐비더라도 고요한 본질은 잃지 않는다. 좁은 공간의 한계는 만석이 될 때 드러나지만, 분위기 자체는 흔들리지 않는다. 리뷰에서 짚어둘 만한 사항이 하나 있다. 별점 1점을 남긴 리뷰어가 동물 복지와 관련해 구체적인 우려를 제기했는데, 잉어 연못의 수위가 낮게 유지되고 있다는 점과 개가 입마개를 한 채 있다는 내용이다. 방문 전에 이 점을 고려하고 싶은 분도 있을 것이다.
Great place to have a chill coffee. Always lots of people working from there and just relaxing. Great coffee and great service. I frequently go with work colleagues but it is a great place to go alone also. Has cool koi fish pond and the design of the cafe is warm and inviting while also being a creative space.

The food is good, i ordered banh mi with pate and extra egg but they gave me extra beef slices...super happy tummy. The place is cool, although it is small but the environment is super pleasant and relaxing. Mellow music is played and it brings back older memories. A great choice for a saturday afternoon coffee.
Nam’s coffee has a perfect atmosphere for chilling here. The jungle-style decoration makes people feel like they are enjoying nature when they come here to drink coffee! Perfect place for breakfast 🍳
Animals shouldn't just be for show, aesthetics. They should be cared for! Do not support until they make changes on how they take care for the animals they use to make their cafe look 'cute'. It's a nice litte artsy café BUT the fish pond has very low water for the adult koi fish, which makes it hard for them to swim around; it's cruel. And their dog is wearing a muzzle all the time, which is not advisable and, again, very cruel. I wouldn't recommend to support this place until they treat their pets humanely!
