Mikasa Japanese Yoshoku Restaurant - Japanized western restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

4th time here. They have new menus, looks pretty good.Overall flavor is 4 starts, and bc they have glass wine now, worth for extra start. Service, when we get in,they didn’t serve water,if you have been to Japan, you will understand this is the very very basic thing.so I asked a cup of water, waiting for 15 minutes…where is the Japan restaurant spirit ? There were only 7 tables of customers, and 6 staffs around us,they have big problem on taking care of customers. That’s all, hope they improve, after all we still like to try few more dishes in the future.

Mikasa is a nice place in Estella mall. Very homey feel. I had the Tornado Omurice and it really hit the spot. Overall it was really good and I would come back.

I had karage, potato salad and omurice. They all good and tasty. The servers were very attentive as well. Had a great time on a Friday night!

Really enjoyed the Western-inspired dishes here — flavorful and nicely presented. The staff are attentive and provide great service throughout the meal. It’s definitely worth a visit, and I would come back again 🙌🏻

The atmosphere of this place is on point to their aesthetic of western japanese, a good place to take photos. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff and quick food service after ordering. If you want a slow, ambient moment with your friends or family, this place is good.
