Dookki Vincom Thao Dien - Korean restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

my first time having dooki chicken was Q5 hung vuong, one of the best fried chicken ever, it was fresh, still hot after getting home. I got chicken from thao dien dookki, when i home it was cold, like it was deep fried yesterday, tasted old, terrible, the color seems like it they deep fry yesterday left over. I will never buy again at thao dien location, DONT buy chicken here, not recommended.

We had a great experience at Dookki! The buffet-style food was delicious and offered at a very affordable price. We also had a lot of fun cooking our own meal, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Definitely worth trying!

Tteokbokki is a popular street food or it can be homemade — it’s not your gourmet dish. Dookki is a chain tteokbokki restaurant from Korea. Given its price point, I think this place is pretty good 👌 You do need to make your own sauce, so that might be a bit of a hassle, but I think that’s what makes it fun — there are many toppings and side dishes to choose from. My father liked the fried chicken 👍 Personally, I didn’t eat the side dishes, but I did put some of the fried stuff into the tteokbokki pot! 👍 There is also a self-service ramen bar, so that seemed pretty neat 👌 It is, however, written in small letters that you may be charged if you have leftovers enough to fill up their standard bowl (if I’m not mistaken), so do be careful not to take more than you can eat!

Food quality is not good. Water costs extra, but softdrinks are free. All food is fried. The hotpot tasted mediocre - basically you pay much for some mì gói. We paid 162k per person. Not too much but any local place would have been better.

3rd time I ate here. Very crowded all the time, many young people. You have to make the hotpot sauce yourself but the ingredients taste same like in Korea. Good service. Reasonable price
