D’Carmela Pizza & Pasta - Pizza restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

Delivery review. Very nice vegan mushroom pasta dish, soft and comforting with a good background flavour. Tuna footlong was ok - quite sloppy and mayonnaise heavy but a huge quantity (3 of those, I just took a picture of one). I see reviews suggesting that the bread is similar to Subway, no it's not. Nothing even remotely similar to any of their various subs. It's ok, better than traditional banh mi bread but a long way from the highs of decent sourdough. If you still want to try real Subway bread, you're s.o.l. as the last one, in Da Nang, also closed in 2023. I digress - this was pretty good and I would recommend.

This was the worst experience ordering pasta in my w years in Ho Chi Minh order there bolognese through Grab with extra sauce can with barely anything on the pasta a little tomato sauce hardly any meat at all horrible so many good Italian restaurants in Ho Chi Minh I regret trying this place suggest you order from somewhere else it’s clearly not run by an Italian! Also called to complain and messaged and no action!

Wow the pizza was delicious Staff were so friendly and the puppy was the cutest staff member of all Great place to come hang out with friends and share a meal.

I wanted to seek out and support a small local business and this was just it! The place is run by a lovely young couple, originally as delivery only, then for the past 3 months as a tiny cozy sit-down with only 2 tables. The food was fantastic! Great pizza dough with crispy edges. Proper carbonara sauce with a whole egg yolk. Pesto pizza base is incredibly aromatic. Their Subway was inspired by an Australian relative. We were too full to try this but it does look amazing on the menu as well. And we got to play with Bun, their 6 month old doggo. She is one easily excitable puppy!
