Café Slow는 Lê Văn Miến의 복층 구조 공간을 자리로 삼고 있다. 두 개의 좌석 구역은 열린 정원 통로로 이어지며, 이 구조가 일반적인 카페 레이아웃을 탈피해 이 거리에서는 좀처럼 느끼기 어려운 여유로운 공간감을 만들어낸다. 한쪽은 에어컨이 가동되고 비교적 조용하여 몇 시간씩 자리를 지키는 노트북 이용자들이 주로 점령하고, 야외 통로 쪽은 음료를 마시며 담소를 나누는 그룹들이 모여든다.
에스프레소 토닉은 Thao Dien 단골들 사이에서 확고한 팬층을 형성했으며, 슬로우 드립 브루와 함께 재방문 이유로 꾸준히 거론된다. 콜드 브루와 필터 커피 옵션이 더해진 커피 메뉴는 화려함보다 스페셜티를 지향한다. 주방은 이후 pasta와 gelato를 추가하며 메뉴를 확장했지만, 카페의 정체성은 변함없이 유지되고 있다.
서비스는 바쁜 상황에서도 흔들리지 않는다. 직원들은 쏟아진 음료를 무료로 교체해 주고 혼잡한 시간대에도 세심하게 응대하는 것으로 인정받고 있다—주말 오전이 얼마나 붐빌 수 있는지를 감안하면 특히 눈에 띄는 부분이다. 에어컨 구역의 의자에는 쿠션이 없어 장시간 작업 시 불편함을 줄 수 있지만, 차분한 분위기 덕분에 단골들은 개의치 않고 다시 찾는다.
미니멀한 인테리어, 부드러운 조명, 낮은 볼륨의 음악이 공간의 에너지를 의도적으로 잔잔하게 조율한다. 평일에는 집중력 있게 일하는 이들이 주를 이루고, 주말에는 보다 사교적인 분위기로 전환되며 야외 구역이 일찍부터 채워진다. 547개의 리뷰에서 4.5점이라는 평점은 새로운 방문객보다 안정적인 단골층에 기반한 결과다.
매일 오전 7시부터 문을 여는 덕분에, 운영 시간과 공간 구성이 어우러져 이 동네에서 손꼽히는 실용적인 올데이 커피 공간으로 자리매김하고 있다.
I spilled my coffee and literally made it messy around the table. The staff soon came to my seat and cleaned it up. After that they even made new coffee for me without charging me. I’m so thankful what they did for me. They saved my day. Not only good coffee, but also good people here. Thank you very much.
Cafe Slow is a peaceful little escape in Thao Dien. The space is divided into two sides, each with its own service counter, separated by a charming garden walkway that gives the place a unique, cozy feel. The coffee was good, but the atmosphere is what really stands out. It is an excellent spot for focus and coworking. We stayed for about three hours and had no problem settling in, getting work done and enjoying the slow, calm vibes. The decor is thoughtful, the setting is relaxing and it’s easy to feel comfortable here for a long stretch of time. We will definitely be coming back.
Cafe was spacious and clean. Staff was really attentive. I got their chai latte, but it tasted like hong kong milk tea rather than chai. Their choux au craquelin was just okay, the vanilla custard had a strong egg flavor, not too much vanilla. I'd like to try their coffee next time.
Cozy coffee place. Creative settings. Great coffee. Super crowded though, yet quiet bunch, which is a plus. Friendly & fast-furious service considering the crowd. Some social check ins posing for photos.
A MUST TRY! :) One of my favorites because of their Espresso Tonics (best in T.D.) and chill atmosphere. With the opening of an additionally larger space; the cafe now offers beautifully made pasta, great tasting gelato and even more room to meet with friends. From the cold brew / filter coffee options to the friendly, amazing and delightfully helpful team members working there; Cafe Slow one of the best coffee places around.
