great stay in a perfect location. the staff was very friendly and helpful every day!! highly recommend this stay if you dont want to book a hotel. location is simply perfect: we did everything by feet...shopping to the shopping center (there's a decathlon :D), some massages right there, fantastic food. we were happy staying on (north of) district 3
best place for short and long term we've ever been to. good location, nice and polite staff, precise cleaning staff. one flaw that comes from the guests actually: people use the swimming pool with sunscreen on their bodies which results in milky water. people should be aware of this, and shower off the sunscreen before using the shared pool. the manager could help make this happen by putting out visible information about this around the pool. 🙏
I've given this a lot of thought before writing. I stayed here for six weeks. The first four were great. I had a clean, quiet room that seemed relatively new. Staff was very friendly. I had no problems. Then someone new moves above me and it became a nightmare. There was constant banging started coming from the ceiling usually lasting over an hour. All hours too like very early in morning at 4:30. Of course I let reception know but it didn't cease. About a week into this, I got very sick and went to the emergency room for stomach problems. I had high fever, extreme fatigue, and constant pain. When I got back, I needed peace and sleep, but the noise continued. The ladies at reception evidently couldn't - maybe wouldn't - do anything about it. My health had a setback, and again I went back to the doctors. When I returned again the noise we're still going on and keeping me up. Finally, I had enough. I had only one day left, so I asked them to refund me a day after staying with them for six weeks and they refused. I was told the accountant said no. I never saw a manager at SQ so there is no leadership here. Bottom line was when I was sick and weak, these people here did nothing to help me. I'm back and forth to Saigon always and these people could had a regular customer, but I wouldn't come back here if my life depended on it. They could have done something. Oh and another thing, something odd about the way they charge for electricity.
Location is okay. The roads are always wet and full of puddles. If you want to go swimming, no towels are provided. That means you swim and stay wet, or sacrifice your only towel in your room. The shampoo and body wash bottles are TINY. What does that mean? Get ready to ask EVERY SINGLE DAY. Toilet paper rolls go quick and short in width. Zero reception support during evening through morning hours. You’re on your own. Also, be ready to be penalized for every little thing you do. Doesn’t matter what the price tag says on a glass cup or bowl (the price sold at the market), you will be charged 5-10X. The same goes for the towels. In other words, get ready to PAY UP!!! You’ve been WARNED! The best thing about this experience is that we AT LEAST KNOW NOT to stay here moving forward.
Staff are very happy and helpful, unit new and clean. Amenities were great pool and gym. Great view from pool and rooftop. Lots of places to eat and have a drink, walking distance. Would go back again.
