Saigon Dep Clinic & Spa Thảo Điền - Skin care clinic in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City
About This Place
Saigon Dep Clinic & Spa sits on Xuân Thủy and draws a steady crowd of couples, expats, and locals who want reliable skin and body work without the guesswork. The interior leans upscale—tasteful décor, a composed atmosphere—and the private couple rooms are a genuine draw: spacious enough for two to decompress side by side rather than in the usual back-to-back arrangement common elsewhere in the neighborhood. The treatment menu runs from entry-level body work to more clinical offerings. A 60-minute massage at around 350K VND sits at the affordable end for Thao Dien, and therapists are consistently described as thorough rather than rushed. The facial program covers Vitamin C & E brightening treatments as well as a sensitive skin option that reviewers with reactive complexions found gentle and reaction-free. For those seeking something more corrective, HIFU is available with a numbing cream protocol before the session. The scrub treatments—skin exfoliation with attentive technique—are a particular repeat-visit driver. One area guests have flagged: no Wi-Fi during the numbing wait before HIFU, and the front desk has at times steered walk-ins toward combo packages that include services they didn't request. Arriving with a clear idea of what treatments are wanted sidesteps that friction. Open every day from 9 AM to 9 PM, the clinic accommodates both planned bookings and same-day visits with minimal wait time reported across most reviews.
Reviews
Honest Review – Unfortunately a Very Disappointing Experience I’m writing this review to honestly share my experience so others can make an informed decision. I initially came in requesting a scrub and a massage. At reception, the manager suggested a combo package that included a sauna, massage, and scrub, explaining that it would be cheaper. I clearly said that I did not want a sauna, but he insisted that the combo was the better option, so I agreed. The treatment itself was very uncomfortable. The first room was extremely cold and full of mosquitoes, and I was bitten all over my body. This made it very difficult to relax. The scrub was supposed to be coffee and milk, but it appeared to be coffee only. The space felt disorganized, with no proper place to store personal belongings or jewelry. There was also a communication issue, as the therapist did not speak English. At one point, the manager entered the room without knocking while I was undressed and covered only by a towel, which was uncomfortable. After I explained the issue with the mosquitoes, I was moved to another room. The second room was shared with two other people, was still very cold, and the massage bed was quite small, with limited space for my arms. In my experience, the massage itself did not feel professional or well-trained. After the massage and scrub ended, I asked about the sauna that was included in the package. I was taken to a sauna that was not working and not heated at all, and I was simply told to wait there. After some time, I gave up, got dressed, and went downstairs on my own to pay. At that point, I was told the price did not include VAT and that I needed to pay extra. After some discussion, the manager agreed to waive the VAT. Overall, I was unable to relax or enjoy the experience. Between the mosquitoes, the cold rooms, the missing milk in the scrub, the non-functioning sauna, and the general lack of organization and professionalism, the experience was extremely disappointing. I hope this review helps others know what to expect.
Great skin exfoliation scrub. Very skilled massage care. Best experience here second day in Sai Gon. Totally recommend.
I've been staying in Thao Dien and felt that I needed a massage. My cousin recommended Saigon Dep. I got a 60 min (medium strength) massage for around 350K dong (~$13 USD) - Make sure you tip! My masseuse was solid and thorough and I felt fantastic afterwards. I definitely will return before leaving Vietnam.
I had a wonderful experience at this spa. The staff were professional, friendly, and very attentive. The service was relaxing and well worth the time. I will definitely come back again.
