The Story

About This Place

MOJO Spa & Foot Massage draws a steady crowd to Lê Văn Miến for one clear reason: the therapists apply genuine pressure. Where many Thao Dien massage spots default to surface-level strokes, the technique here is calibrated for people carrying real tension — desk workers with locked necks and shoulders, expats grinding through long workdays. A 4.8 rating across nearly 900 reviews suggests that consistency is the rule rather than the exception.

The experience is deliberately staged from the moment of arrival. Guests receive tea at reception, and once on the table, a heated eye mask is placed before the session begins — a detail that multiple regulars credit for sending them to sleep within minutes. Post-session tea and snacks close the loop, turning what could be a transactional appointment into something closer to a full reset.

The space leans into atmosphere: soft lighting, low-volume ambient music, essential oil diffusers running throughout. It reads considered without being precious. Rooms are shared — two beds per room, no curtain between them — which is worth knowing for guests expecting total privacy. Walk-ins are accepted and the place fills up, so arriving early or calling ahead is sensible. One practical note: cash only.

The 9 AM–11 PM daily schedule covers both the morning-release crowd and the after-dinner set. Late-night massage availability in Thao Dien is rarer than the restaurant scene implies, and that window gives MOJO a structural edge over the neighborhood's other wellness options. For the district's large expat population and visiting families, it functions as the go-to when the body needs actual therapeutic work rather than a light touch.

As soon as I walked in, I loved how cozy and quiet the place felt. During the massage, I could feel the comforting warmth, which made it even more relaxing. I will definitely visit again whenever I come to Thao Dien. 🩷

I only had 45 minutes foot massage but was able to fall asleep and was even snoring (sorry 😅) They give you tea upon reception and when it's time for the massage, they give you a heated eye mask. That was definitely the culprit of me falling asleep together of course with the exceptional massage!!

Just finished a massage session here and absolutely loved it. Cozy, quiet and clean atmosphere. The tea and snacks afterward were such a thoughtful touch. Staff were gentle, professional, and the whole experience was super relaxing. Definitely coming back!

Just finished my massage and wow… loved it. Cozy vibe, skillful staff, and that post-massage tea and snack were way too cute. Totally worth it and definitely coming back.

Visited on 9 Nov 2025 at 10 PM with a pre-booked appointment for a full-body massage. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing — both in terms of massage quality and overall environment. The massage itself was poor and lacked technique. The head towel had an unpleasant odor, and the masseur (No. 24) seemed very weak. Most of the session involved her lightly stretching my legs rather than actually massaging them — something I could have easily done myself at home. Toward the end, she even started making strange noises, as if something was stuck in her teeth, and seemed to be dozing off mid-session. What made the experience worse was the complete lack of privacy. The “massage room” was actually one large room with three beds separated only by thin, sheer chiffon curtains. The curtains barely covered half the space, so I could clearly see the two other customers beside me — both half-naked during their sessions. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially for a supposedly full-body massage. This was my second visit, and I won’t be returning. During my first visit, they asked me to fill out a form specifying my preferred pressure and focus areas. This time, they didn’t even bother to ask. Although the session only cost 380,000 VND, it still felt like a complete waste of time and money.
