This is one of the nicer convenience stores in the area. It's clean, has lots of options, and the service staff is really polite and friendly. They even have an upstairs seating area for you to sit and eat. We're staying quite close to here so we will be visiting frequently while we're visiting Thao Dien.

Circle K Viet Nam - Convenience store in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City
About This Place
Circle K at 55 Thảo Điền is one of the more presentable convenience stores in the neighborhood — newer fit-out, clean floors, and a second-floor seating area that sets it apart from the typical ground-level grab-and-go format. The upstairs section draws residents in the area who want somewhere to sit with a snack or a hot meal rather than eating on the street, though note the seating closes at 10pm. The store stocks a solid range of packaged goods and ready-to-eat items, and staff have been praised for helpfulness — one late-night customer had an employee assist with cooking instant noodles on the spot. The location works well for expats and tourists staying nearby who need a reliable top-up stop for drinks, snacks, or household basics without trekking to a supermarket. The trade-off is staffing: reviewers note the checkout and food prep lines move slowly during busier periods, and the card terminal has had intermittent outages. For anyone within walking distance of the 55 Thảo Điền address, it functions as a dependable neighborhood anchor — not a destination in its own right, but a consistently stocked, well-maintained option in a part of the district where convenience store quality can vary considerably.
