Wego Coffee는 Nguyễn Bá Lân의 주거용 빌라 안에 자리 잡고 있어 입구를 그냥 지나치기 쉽다. 단골들은 작은 수영장 옆에 자리한 카페를 찾으려면 대문을 지나쳐 걸어 들어가야 한다는 걸 잘 안다. 조명이 드리워진 풀사이드 테라스는 아침 일찍 일을 보러 나온 직장인들과 주말 방문객들을 고루 끌어들이며, 대다수는 주문을 받아 들고 바로 자리를 뜬다. 실내 공간은 아담하지만 채광이 좋아 혼자 노트북 작업을 하거나 조용히 커피 한 잔을 나누기에 편안하다.
메뉴는 전통 베트남 커피와 현대적인 에스프레소를 아우른다. bạc xỉu와 cà phê sữa는 드립 커피에 연유를 더한 계열을 대표하며, 야자수 설탕 시리즈 — latte thốt nốt, bạc xỉu thốt nốt, cà phê muối thốt nốt — 는 연유 대신 팜 슈거를 사용해 각 베이스 음료에 은은한 꽃향기 같은 단맛을 더한다. 하우스 시그니처로 소개된 Foamy Espresso는 에스프레소 위에 휘핑크림과 연유를 올려 한층 풍부하고 디저트에 가까운 맛을 낸다. Cold Brew와 Espresso Tonic은 메뉴의 시원하고 현대적인 끝을 담당한다.
솔티드 커피는 균형감 덕분에 리뷰에서 꾸준히 호평을 받는다. 단맛이 느껴지면서도 결코 과하지 않으며, 요청하면 기꺼이 당도를 줄여 준다는 점도 좋은 평가를 받는 요소다. 음식은 버터 크루아상을 포함한 페이스트리로 한정되어 있어, 식사 목적지보다는 오롯이 커피를 즐기는 공간으로 활용하는 것이 적합하다.
가격대는 Thao Dien 지역의 다른 스페셜티 카페들과 비슷한 수준이다. 주로 외국인 거주자와 현지 직장인들이 많이 찾으며, 평일 아침에는 테이크아웃 손님들이 꾸준히 이어지고 주말에는 풀사이드에서 느긋하게 머무는 사람들로 채워진다. 카페가 넘쳐나는 동네임에도 빌라라는 독특한 공간과 thốt nốt 기반의 메뉴가 이곳만의 분명한 정체성을 만들어내며, 일부러 찾아볼 만한 가치가 있다.

The cafe is fairly small and tucked away in a nook in Tao Dien. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and the place had only a couple of patrons working on their laptops. I tried the salted coffee, with as little sugar as possible, and the staff were more than happy to accomodate. The coffee tasted great, although it was a bit on the small side. Prices seem to be average for the area. All in all, good spot to grab a take away coffee or a quick coffee with a friend.
Chill space indoor as well as outdoor with a pool. Nice staff and delicious drinks & croissants. Would visit again.

The coffee was good. I had the salted coffee and I loved it... Very well balanced! Very relaxing place. Not very big space but cosy and well lit. Only downside was that there was some renovations next door so occasional hammering and drilling was quite bothersome sometimes but nothing the cafe could do! I'd come again!
Another cafe in Thao Dien. The Cafe is inside a villa and one may not notice it. Entering the villa, the Cafe is beside the pool. It serve both traditional Vietnamese coffee and also the latte and stuffs. People working in the area will often do take away. Good coffee with a nice environment.
