Responding to the owner’s reply: Let’s be clear: this was a Grab order. The platform is irrelevant. The issue is the food. The Shepherd’s Pie had an odor so strong and unpleasant that it genuinely smelled like it had come from a sewer. The lamb tasted low-grade and poorly handled. The Aussie beef pie was marginally better, but still well below what would be considered acceptable at this price point. If you are serious about serving quality Aussie-style pies, benchmark them against Mr Pie. That is a comparable product in the same market. The gap in quality is not subtle. What is more telling than the food, however, is your response. Rather than acknowledging that a paying customer may have received a poor product, you questioned whether the order occurred and cited best-seller status. That is not accountability, it is defensiveness. You mention standing over your standards. Based on this experience, those standards need a serious review, or a reality check. Delivery removes ambience from the equation. What remains is product. On that basis alone, this was a one-star experience. You have had other one star reviews too.
