맛찬들 - Matchandeul BBQ Thảo Điền - Korean restaurant in Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

As usual, this brand doesn't miss. One of the best Korean BBQ in this city if I could say so. This Q2 branch is spacious than Q1 and Q7. The quality of meat and banchan still as good as ever. The atmostphere is nice. However, the seasoning of this branch is lighter than the previous 2 branches, that's why I'll go with 4 star for food

Matcha deli BBQ is located in Thao Dien. This is a Korean BBQ grilled meats (beef and pork). This shop is quite popular and usually you will need to queue for numbers on Friday and weekend nights. I like the variety of Korean sided dishes. I ordered the A5 Wagyu Ribeye beef for 1.19M dong (200g). But I find the Wagyu just average and also the staff a bit overcooked the meat. The staff overall providing good services.

The food standard is decent given the high bar of Korean bbq in Thao Dien. But the huge influx of customers led to a below bar in service quality. The wait staff was juggling and cooking for multiple tables. Some of the ingredients were burned as a result. The cold noodles had too much ice and the soup lacking in flavor. There are better alternatives within walking distance such as marbling, 0 degrees and sansung at about the same price point.

One of the highlights was the kimchi fried rice with cheese — it was very rich, fragrant, and the melted cheese added a great creamy texture. Another thing I really liked was the variety of vegetables served with the meal. There were so many fresh vegetables and side dishes, which balanced the richness of the beef very well and made the whole meal feel complete and satisfying. The staff were very professional and attentive, helping with grilling and making sure everything was served nicely. Overall, the food quality, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. I would definitely recommend Matchandeul BBQ Thảo Điền for anyone looking for a great Korean BBQ experience.

I have a very good experience here, they serve great dishes from the main dishes from beef and pork, the side dishes are also great. I rarely see Korean restaurants serving such delicious Banchan, and their meat is also very fresh and sweet. Everyone should come and try it, the restaurant space is also very spacious and clean.
