Hẻm Thái는 Trần Ngọc Diện에 자리 잡고, Thao Dien 주민들 사이에서 조용하지만 탄탄한 단골층을 쌓아왔다. 이 단골들은 메뉴를 워낙 자주 돌아가며 시켜서 이제는 무엇을 고를지 고민조차 하지 않는다. 대부분의 테이블이 처음 눈에 띄는 건 양이다 — papaya salad, pad thai, curry가 혼자 먹기엔 부담스러울 만큼 넉넉하게 나와, 가격이 올라가도 충분히 납득이 간다. 매운맛은 진짜다: 덜 맵게 주문해도 입술에 화끈함이 남는데, 이게 매력인지 경고인지는 그 자리에 누가 앉느냐에 달려 있다. 두부 Penang curry는 비건 옵션이지만 어설프게 끼워 넣은 느낌이 전혀 없고, 태국 길거리 포장마차를 떠올리게 하는 깊은 맛이 사람들을 다시 불러들인다.
식당은 두 구역으로 나뉜다 — 동네 바람이 통하는 오픈 에어 공간과 한낮의 열기를 피할 수 있는 에어컨 실내 공간. 직원들은 친절하고 여유롭다는 평이 한결같으며, 식사가 끝난 뒤에도 테이블에서 시간을 보내게 되는 이유 중 하나다. 서비스가 동네 식당 느낌에 비해 다소 정돈된 인상을 주기도 하고, 인근 식당과 공유되는 통합 메뉴 탓에 서비스 차지 항목에서 혼선이 생기기도 하니, 계산서는 꼼꼼히 살펴보는 편이 낫다.
주변의 국제 식당들과 Hẻm Thái를 구별 짓는 건 새로움이 아니라 일관성이다 — 단골들은 매달 찾아와도 매번 같은 품질을 마주친다고 말한다. 식당 교체가 빠른 동네에서, 그 믿음직스러움이야말로 진짜 매력이다.
Love at the first sight from the cute atmospheres to the nice services. Food is very spicy even though I have request a half spicy level, but the taste and flavor was spot on. Also a bonus point for their big portions and the wide range of choices on the menu.
Legit the food is perfect hits the spot, I had the Penang curry very spicy tofu as I'm vegan and it was delicious took me back to Thailand days, spice level was great and tasted delicious, service is okay and atomsphere kinda over the top but would highly recommend as the food is well worth it, will be going back again,kinda pricey but honestly worth it Be careful as they put all the menus of other restaurants in one menu so you can get double the service charge,if you're not careful Other than that get the spicy penang with tofu you wont regret it
The portion is huge, food is decent. Open space and indoors with AC. I came back multiple times because it’s always been lovely to be here.
Visited for lunch today. Papaya salad, pad thai, curry. All dishes are voluminous and very delicious. I'm sorry I couldn't finish it. All employees are very kind and polite. We stayed a long time. We will definitely visit again!
