Green Monkey Saigon은 Thao Dien의 Đỗ Quang 거리에 자리한 좁은 건물을 점하고 있으며, Vuko와 그의 아내 Ngọc 부부가 운영한다. 세세한 부분에까지 쏟는 이들의 열정은 외국인 거주자와 현지인 모두로부터 두터운 단골층을 만들어냈다. 메뉴의 중심은 직접 구운 바게트로 만드는 지중해식 샌드위치와 랩으로, 그중에서도 Medley Charcuterie는 큐어드 미트를 다루는 정성스러운 방식으로 눈길을 끈다. 각 재료를 켜켜이 쌓아 풍미, 짠맛, 깊이 각각의 개성을 살리면서도 어느 하나가 나머지를 압도하지 않도록 조화를 이룬다.
베이킹은 빵에서 그치지 않는다. 홈메이드 비건 Snickers 바는 메인 메뉴와 별개로 입소문을 타고 있는데, 묵직하고 달콤하며 이름에서 기대하는 것보다 훨씬 뛰어나다. 시나몬 비스킷은 재방문 손님들이 꾸준히 찾는 단골 메뉴다. 음료 쪽으로는 하우스 인퓨전, 코코-말차 글로우, 그리고 단골들이 사이공 최고 중 하나로 꼽는 오트 라떼가 음식과 같은 정성을 담아 리스트를 완성한다. 커피를 주문하면 무료 bruschetta가 함께 제공되는데, 이 작은 제스처가 이곳의 운영 방식을 고스란히 드러낸다.
1층 좌석은 조용한 편이며, 2층의 식물이 늘어선 발코니는 아침 햇살을 받아 노트북을 펼쳐 놓고 오전 시간을 보내려는 이들의 단골 자리가 되었다. 공간은 꾸며진 느낌보다 오랫동안 생활한 것 같은 분위기를 풍긴다 — 인테리어 디자이너의 지시가 아닌, 주인들이 원해서 하나씩 더해진 디테일들이 모인 곳이다. 양이 넉넉해 매장에서 식사를 마친 후에도 테이크아웃이 충분히 실용적인 선택이 된다.
화요일 휴무이며, 나머지 요일은 오전 8시부터 오후 9시까지 운영한다. Đỗ Quang 거리 자체가 조용하고 가로수가 늘어서 있어 식사 후 산책하기에도 좋다 — 이곳에 발을 들이면 자연스레 스며드는 여유로운 분위기와 잘 어울린다.
We were craving sandwiches and healthy options for lunch and tried out Green Monkey - so delicious and a really lovely spot!!! The owner is very nice and her skills with baking fresh breads and cookies as well as making different infusions for their drinks is definitely impressive. Great toppings and selection for the pita’s, wraps and sandwiches. We will definitely be back! The street where Green Monkey is located is also really nice, cool area to enjoy a walk after you get a great lunch 😊
Food is more than just delicious, cinnamon biscuit is yummmm 🤤 I love sitting outside at the balcony in the morning. It's quite chill. The plants need to be taken care a lil bit then you have amazing place. The man staff who wears like a chef is so friendly and nice. I will be back 😬🙏🏻
The food and drinks and the service and the place itself is crazy good. We stopped for breakfast and loved it. The portions are huge, so we even got to take away half for later. The appetizers and huge complimentary cookie for the coffee were a nice surprise. Thank you for the great experience 🙏
I would recommend this place for my friends. Here’s a balcony where you can work. I had a delicious pita here and coco-matcha glow😋 I was surprised they treated me 2 appetizers bruschettas. Omg, so lovely!
Easily the best oat latte in Saigon We got a cookie and a small snack and they both were delicious Chicken sandwich is literally my favourite cant find better ❤️ And huge thank you to the kind and sweet lady who was there. It’s hard to find so friendly and welcoming people she made my day 🌹
