메뉴의 중심은 보쌈이다. 두툼하게 썬 돼지고기를 식사 내내 테이블 위 가스불에 올려 먹는 방식으로, 지방과 살코기의 비율이 절묘하다는 평이 손님들 사이에서 꾸준히 나온다. 장어덮밥은 미리 조리해 데우지 않고 주문 즉시 굽는다. 그 차이는 뚜렷하다. 겉은 바삭하고 속살은 촉촉하며, 흔히 볼 수 있는 기성품과는 수준이 다르다. 문어 pasta는 의도적인 퓨전 시도로 읽힌다. 충분한 매운맛과 겹겹이 쌓인 깊이를 갖추고 있어, 같은 메뉴판에 자리한 정통 한식 요리들 사이에서도 전혀 밀리지 않는다.
2코스 구성 — 적당한 식사량을 원하는 이를 위한 Course A, 든든하게 먹고 싶은 이를 위한 Course B — 은 약 700,000 VND 선으로, 처음 방문하는 이들에게 주로 추천되는 선택지다. 양은 넉넉한 편이며, 주문량이 예상보다 많다고 느껴지면 주방에서 육회를 서비스로 내보내기도 한다고 알려져 있다.
공간은 아담하고 항상 손님으로 가득 차 있다. 오픈 키친은 주방의 리듬을 눈으로 확인할 수 있게 해주면서도 공간이 소란스럽게 느껴지지 않는다. 직원들은 능동적이다. 바쁜 저녁에도 워크인 손님을 위한 자리를 만들어냈다는 후기가 여러 건 있는데, 이는 홀 운영이 그만큼 잘 짜여 있다는 방증이다. 손님층은 다채롭다. 한국 거주자, 현지 베트남 가족, 그리고 먹고 싶은 메뉴를 미리 정해두고 찾아오는 미식가들이 함께 어우러진다.
Same as good as Marcel burger, to the taste of fine dining dishes. Nice service, feel at home. Unlike others, a touch of being distant for exclusive service. Soda drinks gifted for reviews. Big portion for 2 as normal size, remember to check with the staff before your order.
You can enjoy full-stomach course with 700,000 VND. Almost all the menu includes meat, it is not a vegetable party. The quantity of the foods were so large, I could not eat them all. But we were enjoying our meal so well, so the kitchen offered us beef tartare free. It will be a good choice to treat someone or invite someone, using less than a million VND.
Best restaurant discover of this year. Food was delicious and very high quality. Open kitchen. Friendly staff and cozy ambiance. We went without a reservation, restaurant was packed but they tried to arrange us a table which we really appreciate. Definitely will come back many many times more.
We tried spicy squid, grilled prok, and pancakes. All dishes were very delectable. 9/10 for the food. The staffs were very friendly, and proactive. Our group had a very great experience dinning here
The Bossam here is amazing; they use a tabletop stove to keep the pork perfectly moist and tender, and the flavor and fat-to-meat ratio are spot-on. We also tried the Octopus Pasta, and wow, it's got a nice spicy kick, but the flavor is deep and complex, probably the best I've ever had. The pricing is a little high, but that's just Thao Dien for you, and the quality totally justifies the cost. I'm definitely planning to go back just to try the grilled eel since it looked delicious!
