Bamos Coffee는 주 7일 24시간 문을 연다. 이 점 하나만으로도 사이공 강변에 집중된 외국인 카페 씬과 확연히 선을 긋는다. 공간은 집중 작업에 적합한 조용한 실내 학습 층과, 연못과 정원이 자리한 개방형 안뜰로 나뉜다. 이 구성 덕분에 노트북 작업자, 친구 모임, 밤을 꼬박 새우는 프리랜서들이 하루 종일 순환하듯 드나든다. 주말 오후가 되면 안뜰은 거의 만석 상태가 되는데, 잠깐 들르는 카페가 아닌 작업 기지처럼 활용하는 대학생과 원격 근무자들이 주를 이룬다.
음료는 베트남식 카페 메뉴에 가깝다. 우롱 밀크티는 딱 맞는 단맛으로 꾸준한 호평을 받고, 커피는 탁월하기보다는 정직한 맛—긴 세션을 버티기 위한 충분한 연료이지, 음미를 위한 한 잔은 아니다. 유럽식 에스프레소 음료는 메뉴에 없으니, 카푸치노를 기대하고 방문한다면 미리 알아두는 편이 좋다. 매주 어쿠스틱 세트가 라이브 음악을 더하고, 중부 고원 아이들을 위한 자선 기념품 프로그램이 운영되어 일반 카페를 넘어선 커뮤니티적 면모를 갖추고 있다.
이따금 손님의 무릎을 차지하는 주황색 고양이는 이곳의 명물이 됐다. 평일 자정에도 안뜰에는 사람이 있고, 일요일 오후면 빈자리를 찾기 힘들다. 청결도에 대한 평가는 다소 엇갈리는데, 화장실과 야외 공간에 대한 지적이 특히 많으며 입구 근처 흡연자 무리가 테라스 경험에 영향을 준다. 그럼에도 24시간 운영, 진짜 야외 정원 환경, 라이브 프로그램의 조합은 Bamos Coffee에 방문객 유형을 가리지 않는 열성 팬층을 만들어냈다. 시험 기간을 버티는 학생들, 코워킹 스페이스를 오가는 디지털 노마드, 그리고 새벽 3시에 있을 곳이 필요한 이라면 누구에게나.
I’ve tried another location before, but this branch is not as good. The tables and chairs feel a bit dated, and the overall atmosphere isn’t as nice. My coffee was also disappointing. I asked for less sugar, but it still came out too sweet, and the coffee itself didn’t taste very good. Compared to their other location, this one feels like a downgrade in both quality and experience.
Paid a visit to this coffee at midnight with my friend. The vibe was chill and peaceful. Drinks were alright. There was a nice friendly orange cat, slept on my thighs 😆
First - open 24/7, it’s good. The place itself is actually very nice. There’s a spacious courtyard with a fountain, and the whole area feels pleasant and well maintained. It’s a comfortable spot to sit and relax. Unfortunately, the menu is extremely disappointing. For some reason, they don’t offer basic, standard drinks like a cappuccino or something like a raf coffee. Familiar European-style coffee options are completely missing. I just wanted a large hot cappuccino, but it’s not even on the menu. The Vietnamese coffee with milk is basically a tiny shot — around 100 ml — not a proper full-size drink. It’s a lovely environment, but the menu really lets the place down.
I can't believe there is a 24h cafe here. Nice environment, but the floors can be cleaner. I was here on a Sunday afternoon and the place is packed with youngsters working hard on their laptops. Drink is great. I ordered the Olong Milk tea, just the right amount of sweetness. Good place to do work and read a book except for smokers outside as the place is packed with people.
This hidden away gem is open 24 hours a day. It's a thriving hub for digital nomads, students and creative groups. The coffee is not off the charts, but is enough for doing an all-nighter. Coffee shop staff are coffee shop staff. You're not expecting sparkling service so you won't be disappointed. Altogether though, it deserves its cult following.
