Brookie는 바삭한 쿠키와 쫀득한 brownie를 반씩 합친 메뉴로, 주요 라인업과는 별개로 자체적인 팬층을 형성하고 있다. 도보로 몇 분 거리에 자매 매장이 있으며 더 다양한 종류를 갖추고 있어, 오너가 직접 방문 고객을 그쪽으로 안내하기도 한다.
위층에서는 미술 클래스도 운영된다. 키체인 만들기 세션으로, 쿠키 하나만 먹으려고 들른 방문객들이 예상보다 훨씬 오랜 시간을 보내게 만드는 프로그램이다. 주 고객층은 현지 거주 외국인과 다른 지역에서 주말에 찾아오는 방문객으로, 이미 먹고 싶은 맛을 정해두고 오는 경우가 많다. 이 가게의 당도는 베트남 베이커리 기준으로 높은 편인데, 리뷰어들은 이를 비판이 아닌 사전 안내로 언급한다. 미국식 쿠키에 익숙한 사람이라면 낯설지 않은 수준이다. Really really recommend coming here, the cookies are the best I have ever had! The owner (I assume) is so kind and let us know of the other shop they have just 5 minutes away which has even more wonderful choices! I believe it is called “Annie’s Cookies and more”.
Love the area and the cookies :) there are fabulous flavors like biscoff and pistachio. Crumbly on the outside, gooey melted inside. Served warm. Super sweet. Pretty seating area next to other restaurants, great addition to brunch.
Lovely place for people that love pink! i love the cookie texture, it’d be even better if they can be less sweet. The soda is really good
As a cookie lover, I have tried quite a few bakeries but Annie is my best choice now for cookies. I believe that she puts her love into every cookies that why I always feel so happy after eating them 🥰❤️ I have tried: salted caramel, strawberry shortcake, brownie & biscoff 😋 And my most favourite (as I like all the flavours) is biscoff so far. But I am sure that I will find more most favourites when I try others 🤭🤭
I ordered for delivery, the S’more cookie was very good although a tad too sweet for me. The texture was heavenly, crunchy outside and soft inside. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Totally. Edit: I went to the store on another occasion and got salted caramel cookie. The cookies is moist, but very very sweet, so be prepared. If you are used to American cookies, it should be fine for you though.
